12,952 cereal boxes topple like dominoes in Detroit

A non-profit organization orchestrated an impressive display by arranging 12,952 cereal boxes in Detroit and causing them to tumble like dominoes to achieve a Guinness World Record.

Move For Hunger took on this challenge on Thursday at the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center, with the goal of surpassing the previous record of 6,391, which was established by Long Beach Middle School in New York in 2021.

The chain reaction of cereal box dominos was initiated by none other than Tony the Tiger, Kellogg's mascot.

Footage capturing the spectacular chain reaction was shared on various social media platforms.

Subsequently, the cereal boxes utilized in this remarkable attempt will be contributed to Forgotten Harvest and Gleaner's Community Food Bank.
